The Common Problem: Bead Loss in Conventional Magnetic Racks

Traditional magnetic stands often fail when processing low-volume or rare-cell samples. Magnetic beads tend to spread along the tube wall, making them difficult to retrieve — especially in specimens with bead volume in sub-microvolume range. A common issue with standard magnetic racks is that the beads tend to spread & smeared into a thin layer on the surface of the test tube after collection. This condition leads to a significant loss of beads during operation, particularly with lower volume specimens. 1.5 ml tube format.

Proven in Single-Cell Assays

In a pilot study using AccuMag 16, we successfully distinguished gene expression between single CHO-K1-GFP⁺ and CHO-K1-GFP⁻ cells using just 3 µl XP beads in PCR-strip format. The result? Clear cDNA profiles with no need for outsourcing or core-lab dependency such as scNGS assays
